- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¾ cup chopped dried cherries
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prep
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Mix Wet Ingredients
- In a large bowl, beat together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
3️⃣ Combine Dry Ingredients
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
4️⃣ Fold in Cherries & Chocolate Chips
- Gently stir in the chocolate chips and chopped dried cherries until evenly distributed.
5️⃣ Scoop & Bake
- Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 9-12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
6️⃣ Cool & Enjoy
- Let the cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
