Cherry Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup chopped dried cherries

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, beat together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

3️⃣ Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

4️⃣ Fold in Cherries & Chocolate Chips

  • Gently stir in the chocolate chips and chopped dried cherries until evenly distributed.

5️⃣ Scoop & Bake

  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Bake for 9-12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.

6️⃣ Cool & Enjoy

  • Let the cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
